We perform on historical instruments, and seek to represent a historically informed sound to our audiences. You will often see the same players performing on different instruments from concert to concert - or even between pieces, changing as we strive to bring you as close as we can to the music.
Alongside our regular core of artists listed here, we adjust our ensembles to best reflect the performance of each piece or concert programme - we are honoured to work with some of the world's leading historical performance artists, including Anneke Scott, Stephen Farr, Roger Montgomery and Dame Ann Murray.
